New Features
- Report Activity feed: A sortable activity feed showing report opens, publishes, emails, contracts, invoices, and confirmations, with email open tracking.
- Message Automations: Create, edit, enable, and disable scheduled message automations with configurable recipients, timing, and conditions — including "after request" automations for client-portal bookings.
- Client intake and online scheduling: Clients can book inspections online with available time slots and inspector assignments, date-range booking, and earliest-available scheduling. Includes configurable working hours per inspector with company defaults.
- Services configuration: Set up custom inspection types, pricing factors, add-ons, service areas, and distance surcharges, with an AI-assisted setup interview. Supports negative pricing (discounts), internal-only add-ons, and call-for-quote handling.
- Custom questions (prompts): Company-configurable questions for client, property, service, report, and scheduling steps, usable for pricing, duration estimates, and contract/message placeholders.
- Report access gating: Lock published reports until the client agreement is signed and the invoice is paid, with per-report override and manual lock/unlock controls.
- Structured property address: Street, city, state/province, and ZIP now have their own fields, with address autocomplete (US and Canada) and automatic parsing of apartment/suite/unit details. Property attributes (year built, square footage, bedrooms, bathrooms) added.
- Multiple signed contracts: Reports now support multiple signed contract PDFs and addendums, with a contracts list page in the client portal.
- Chapters & Sections management: A unified screen for organizing your report structure, with drag-and-drop reordering, template duplication, blank chapter/section creation, and name variations. Chapters and sections can now be configured to start hidden.
- REST API and webhooks: Create, list, and retrieve reports via REST endpoints, with API key generation/revocation and a configurable webhook URL for report notifications.
- Scope Inspect integration: Create, update, and cancel inspections and sync reports bidirectionally, with API key management and an auto-publish option.
- Media filtering by creator: Filter media by who captured it (Me, Other Users, Anyone), plus a separate used/unused filter.
- Multi-select in the media bar: Shift-click range selection, live selection counts including hidden selections, and "Clear Selections" / "Remove Hidden Selections" actions.
- Zoom controls: Zoom in, out, and reset from the View menu with keyboard shortcuts, plus an on-screen zoom indicator.
- Sticky section headers: Section headers stay visible while scrolling.
- Dialog keyboard shortcuts: Enter confirms and Escape cancels across dialogs.
- Invoice payment methods: Configure multiple payment methods, including no-fee options, with optional instructions and a setting to enable or disable processing fees.
- Field improvements: A "start collapsed" option for fields (persisted and synced across devices), a "Do not show selections in report" toggle, drag-and-drop reordering of field options, and multi-line paste to add many options at once.
- Library entry improvements: Start from the report version when editing, optionally save changes back to the report, and see an alert when report and library versions differ.
- Detailed publishing progress: Progress dialogs now show phase, speed, ETA, byte progress, and file counts.
Improvements
- Dark mode: Comprehensive dark mode support across the desktop app, with Light / Dark / System options in Settings and a keyboard shortcut to toggle.
- UI refresh: The client and property information page has been redesigned with distinct sections, a modern layout, and updated typography.
- Settings redesign: A refreshed Settings dialog with grouped, labeled sections, clickable navigation, and clearer icons.
- Smart Tags (formerly Tables): Global tag groups with per-report attachments, drag-and-drop group reordering, per-column sum/count/sort, a visual formula builder for custom calculations, summary tables and summary pages, and printable output. Table setups can be imported from another report.
- Rich text editor: A responsive toolbar with a "More Options" overflow button, plus a TipTap-based editor for contracts and boilerplates with color, highlighting, alignment, and image insertion.
