This release includes a bunch of crash fixes and performance improvements.

Bug Fixes

• Improved Device Recognition: More accurate device identification, especially for recent Samsung models. Hardware reporting now includes separate Manufacturer, Device ID, and Model information.
• Adaptive Thumbnails: Thumbnails now automatically adjust their size based on screen size for optimal viewing across different devices. This also improves performance by only loading the necessary thumbnail resolution.
• More Reliable Thumbnails: Improved reliability of thumbnail generation for photos and videos, including smarter retry delays to handle transient errors. This reduces broken or missing images and UI flicker.
• Improved Toolbar Behavior: Resolved several issues related to toolbar positioning and visibility, especially on tablets and during keyboard interactions. The toolbar now consistently repositions correctly across all devices.
• Camera Behavior: Improved camera pause/resume behavior, consistent lens selection restoration, and automatic torch shutoff when leaving the Camera screen.
• PDF Icon/Thumbnail Display: Corrected display issues with PDF thumbnails and icons, ensuring clear and consistent rendering.
• Observation Tags: Tag lists now use natural formatting (e.g., “A, B and C”), and the tag bar height adapts dynamically.
• Cover Photo Display: Fixed issues causing incorrect images to display when multiple attempts to set a cover photo were made.
• Overflow Menu Positioning: Corrected the positioning of the overflow menu on the Home screen.
• Observation Tag Display: Fixed an issue where observation tags didn't always appear on changes.

Bug Fixes

• Native Photo Import: Significant performance improvements have been made to the photo import process, resulting in smoother and more reliable syncing across all platforms (Android, iOS, and Desktop).
• Android Tablet Issues: Resolved issues affecting toolbar positioning on Android tablets.
• Torch Reliability: Improved torch reliability on various devices, reducing flicker and ensuring consistent on/off behavior. This includes a fix for a specific issue on Samsung Galaxy S25 devices.
• Thumbnail Issues: Fixed issues with thumbnail generation and display during the import process on various platforms. Memory usage related to thumbnails has also been improved on iOS.
• Navigation Buttons: The previous/next navigation buttons now correctly reflect the availability of previous and next items, and their colors accurately indicate their enabled/disabled state. Navigation is more reliable.
• Email Display in Settings (Mobile): Your login email address is now displayed above the Logout button in mobile settings.

• Consistent Address Display: The full address (including city and state) is always shown in report history for both desktop and mobile.
• Layout Enhancements: Several layout adjustments have been made for improved visual appeal and consistency across devices. This includes improved text wrapping in checkboxes and refined footer positioning.

Bug Fixes

• Camera Flash Issues: Resolved crashes related to flash/torch availability on certain Samsung devices. Flash is now only enabled for back-facing cameras with confirmed flash support.
• Media Attachment: Fixed an issue where media (photos/videos) sometimes failed to attach to observations.
• Apply Template: Fixed an issue where applying a template to an existing report deleted existing gallery photos and captions. Gallery data is now preserved.
• Annotation Screen: Updated the default setting for scrollable buttons on the annotation screen to be disabled.
• Alt-Text Modal: Improved the layout of the Alt-Text modal on tablets for better usability.
• Orientation Lock: Simplified and improved the consistency of orientation handling, particularly when using the camera.

• Bulleted List Tag Display: A new "Bulleted List" display option for observation tags is available for desktop, mobile, and report templates, providing a more organized view of tags.
• Add Review Comments to Flagged Issues: You can now add optional review comments when marking an observation as needing review. These comments are displayed in both desktop and mobile apps.
• Improved Field Connection: A new "Connect to fields" modal makes linking field values to observations much easier, accessible via a toolbar button or keyboard shortcut (Cmd/Ctrl+Shift+F).
